Seven Elite Rated funds and managers win awards at the 20th annual Investment Week Fund Manager of the Year Awards
Last week, the 20th annual Investment Week Fund Manager of the Year Awards was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
No fewer than seven Elite Rated funds and managers won awards:
Baillie Gifford Japanese – best Japanese equity fund
Henderson UK Absolute Return – best absolute return fund
Henderson European Focus – best European equity fund
JOHCM Global Select – best global equity & income fund
PFS TwentyFour Dynamic Bond – best strategic bond fund
Premier Multi-Asset Growth & Income – best managed income fund
Global group of the year went to Henderson Global Investors, who are also an Elite Provider for Equities.
To mark the occasion, there was also an award for '20-year Outstanding Fund Manager'. This went to Elite Rated Angus Tulloch, manager of First State Asia Pacific Leaders.
Commenting on the award, the organisers said: “Over the past two decades, a select number of fund managers stand out from the crowd; not just for their outstanding performance record but also the extent of their influence on investor behaviour.
“Choosing the winner in such a diverse category prompted much debate, but the judges decided the accolade should be awarded to First State's Angus Tulloch for the key role he has played in popularising Asian and emerging market investing for retail investors.”
