January 2016 poll results

In November, 70% said they are most likely to invest in equities in 2016. What type of equity fund will you choose?*

The UK stock market has fallen more than 14% since it peaked last April**, but it seems FundCalibre visitors are able to look past the short-term volatility and are prepared to carry on investing.

In November, 70% of visitors said they were most likely to invest in equities and, last month, when asked what type of equity fund they would choose, UK equity funds were the most popular, attracting a third of the votes, followed by Equity Income and Global funds, each with 20%.

In contrast, US equity funds were shunned completely and only 3% said they would invest in Asia or emerging markets.
