In 10 days’ time a number of Artemis employees, including the managers of two Elite Rated funds, will set off on an ‘office to office’ cycle ride to raise money for Children with Cancer UK, the leading national children’s charity dedicated to the cause.
The core team, of which Nick Shenton, co-manager of Artemis Income is a member, will cover the 529 miles between Artemis’s London and Edinburgh offices over a period of 6 days, and hopes to raise £25,000. A number of colleagues, amongst whom are Derek Stuart and Andy Gray, co-managers of Artemis UK Special Situations, will join them for single stages.
The route is as follows:
Day One – London to Cambridge – 67 miles, climbing 3800ft
Day Two – Cambridge to Lincoln – 107 miles, climbing 3260ft
Day Three- Lincoln to Harrogate – 99 miles, climbing 2860ft
Day Four – Harrogate to Durham – 92 miles, climbing 5600 ft
Day Five – Durham to Berwick – 107 miles, climbing 7444ft
Day Six – Berwick to Edinburgh – 67 miles, climbing 4180 ft
