Tom Wilson, manager of F&C UK Mid Cap, has resigned and will be leaving BMO Asset Management to join another company.

The move, announced yesterday, means that the fund must lose its Elite Rating.

David Moss, managing director, co-head of global equities at BMO Asset Management, will take on the management of the fund temporarily until a replacement is found.

Commenting on the move, Darius McDermott, managing director of FundCalibre, said: It’s a real shame that Tom is moving on but we wish him every success in his new role.
