Two funds lose ratings due to manager departures

In January 2024, it was announced Mark Hawtin lead manager of the GAM Star Disruptive Growth fund, would be leaving his role to take on the role of head of global growth equities at Liontrust in May. In response, GAM has hired Paul Markham to lead the Disruptive Growth team, starting in February.

Earlier this month Artemis announced that Sacha El Khoury will be taking over the Artemis Positive Future fund, and the four fund managers since the launch of the strategy – Craig Bonthron, Neil Goddin, Jonathan Parsons, and Ryan Smith – have left the firm. They all joined from Kames Capital in 2020.

Unfortunately, the change in management means both funds will have to lose their Ratings as a result of the changes.
