Changes to our Elite Rating list

Following our annual investment committee review, FundCalibre has made several changes to its Elite Ratings, removing ten funds from the list.

Alquity Indian Subcontinent — While the fund has a good long-term track record, its current AlphaQuest score is not sufficient to progress from Radar status to an Elite Rating. As a result, it will no longer retain its Elite Radar badge.
AXA Framlington UK Mid Cap — As highlighted in our 2025 Fund Performance Report, the fund has experienced a challenging period. Continued short and medium-term underperformance has led to a deterioration in its AlphaQuest score, meaning it no longer meets the criteria required to retain its Elite Rating.
CCLA Better World Global Equity — The fund delivered strong performance following launch and offers a distinctive proposition. However, with a track record now exceeding four years, it has not achieved the AlphaQuest score required to progress to an Elite Rating. It will therefore lose its Elite Radar badge.
Comgest Growth Europe ex UK — The fund’s AlphaQuest score has declined over time and it no longer meets our minimum threshold. As a result, it will be removed from the Elite Ratings list.
Fundsmith Equity — The fund’s performance has lagged over the past five years and, with its earlier period of exceptional success now falling out of the analysis period, its AlphaQuest score has declined. While we recognise the fund’s impressive 20-year track record, it no longer meets our minimum threshold and will therefore lose its Elite Rating.
Lazard Global Equity Franchise — The fund’s AlphaQuest score has weakened and it no longer meets the minimum threshold required for an Elite Rating. As a result, it will be removed from the list.
Morgan Stanley Global Brands — The fund’s AlphaQuest score has deteriorated and it no longer meets our minimum requirements. Therefore, it will no longer retain its Elite Rating.
Premier Miton Multi-Asset Monthly Income — The fund’s AlphaQuest score has declined and it no longer meets the required threshold for an Elite Rating. It will therefore be removed from the list.
Premier Miton US Opportunities — The fund’s AlphaQuest score has deteriorated and it no longer meets our minimum criteria. As a result, the team has decided that it should lose its Elite Rating.
Rathbone UK Opportunities — The fund has faced significant headwinds for much of the manager’s tenure. While we acknowledge these challenges, its AlphaQuest score no longer meets our minimum threshold, and it will therefore lose its Elite Rating.

Past performance is not a reliable guide to future returns. Market and exchange-rate movements may cause the value of investments to go down as well as up. Yields will fluctuate and so income from investments is variable and not guaranteed. You may not get back the amount originally invested. Tax treatment depends of your individual circumstances and may be subject to change in the future. If you are unsure about the suitability of any investment you should seek professional advice.
Whilst FundCalibre provides product information, guidance and fund research we cannot know which of these products or funds, if any, are suitable for your particular circumstances and must leave that judgement to you. Before you make any investment decision, make sure you’re comfortable and fully understand the risks.
