A decade after Lehman Brothers failed, what do managers think about banks?
On Monday 15th September 2008, I remember walking into the office, not knowing quite what to expect....
Following the announcement last week that George Godber and Georgina Hamilton, managers of the Miton UK Value Opportunities and Miton Undervalued Assets funds, had handed in their resignation at Miton, it has now been confirmed that they will be moving to Polar Capital, the boutique asset management house.
Polar Capital, which has two Elite Rated funds, Global Insurance and Healthcare Opportunities, has also announced plans to recruit up to three further fund management teams.
Commenting on the recruitment spree, the company said: “We have spent a number of years building up our operational support structure within Polar Capital and this now means we have the necessary resource to offer additional teams the highest level of support, whilst maintaining the culture of our group.”
